woods| a poem|

The woods are lonely yet I am never really alone
the fox hides in the hollow of the tree when she sees me
Fear clings to her coat
I long for a simpler place in time
Sometimes I wish to be saddled with less responsibility
the sun radiates through the dense trunks and foliage
Peace and joy are mine if only I let them in
