The world is a beautiful place
because of you
when you are happy
I am happy
when you are angry
I send you compassion
when you lash out at me
I know it isn’t really me that you are lashing out at
my understanding is bigger than your anger
my heart is bigger than your fear
imagine me gathering all your troubles
and the pain melting away in my arms
know that you’re never really alone
we are in this together as one
